Associated Hebrew Schools of Toronto
” I attended this school 30 years ago and had a horrible experience. I recently discovered that this school is still as terrible as it was back then. When I had attended this school, the incompetent educators including the principle had zero knowledge on how to educate children who had difficulty focusing. At that time, I was a recent immigrant and had struggled with Hebrew classes as I barely understood English. As such, I acted out and showed zero interest. Their response was to kick me out of the school at the age of 7. They essentially told my parents that I would never amount to anything. Fast forward 30 years, I am probably further ahead than 95% of my former classmates and ultra successful with multiple businesses, real estate holdings and a beautiful family. Just recently, I was saddened to see them deny admission for my child. It brought back poor memories and was eye opening. I realized through this experience that nothing much has changed. Their educators are incompetent, lazy and unable to educate children who do not “fit the mold”. I would go as far to say that they are probably not fit to educate most children. “
